Standard, l’iconica sedia di Vitra – sospesa tra passato e presente, tra rievocazioni del classico e vocazioni moderniste – affascina per la modulazione dei volumi, il contrasto tra le gambe anteriori e le posteriori e le calde combinazioni cromatiche. Disegnata nel 1934 da Jean Prouvé, architetto e ingegnere, si basa sul fatto che in una sedia le maggiori sollecitazioni interessano le gambe posteriori, in quanto sostengono la parte superiore del corpo. Per questo alla sedia Standard bastano tubolari d’acciaio in posizione frontale, mentre dietro il peso è scaricato sul pavimento attraverso le voluminose e cave gambe posteriori. Questo spiega il suo affascinante design che illustra anche la sua concezione.

Il perfetto mix di classico e moderno che la caratterizza rendendo la sedia Standard adatta a ogni tipo di ambiente, in contesti sia lavorativi che domestici.

Local deliveries are made using our own vehicles ; we'll contact you to arrange a date and time.

NATIONAL SHIPPING

For standard domestic shipments of small and medium-sized packages, we selected DHL express courier. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the delivery address and are valid for curbside deliveries.

Once your purchase is ready to ship, we'll send you a tracking link that will allow you to follow your shipment until delivery.

For larger shipments, we use specialized furniture couriers who operate weekly throughout the country.
