Corsetto armchair
by Cristian Mohaded
The Corsetto armchair by Cristián Mohaded is defined by containment and softness, shaped through the designer's distinctive approach to form and material.
The piece draws on the tension between structure and comfort, using leather and fabric as elements that actively shape the design. Every detail contributes to a precise, tactile experience rooted in control, proportion, and restraint.
Crafted in a rounded, full-bodied volume, the armchair supports the body with a sense of enclosure. A leather belt rises from the base and wraps upward to the armrests, tightening the form and giving it structure.
This continuous element compresses the upholstery just enough to define a corseted profile, holding the volume in place without interrupting its softness.
