Bosco armchair
by Naoto Fukusawa
The Bosco armchair by Naoto Fukasawa is an armchair that invites the body to let go. Inspired by the gentle hills of Tuscany, its soft, generous volume and subtly divided contours, echo the rhythms of the landscapes.
Its form is defined by generous volumes that support the body naturally, allowing the sitter to settle into the chair's embrace.
The design favors continuity, shaping a compact silhouette that feels stable, protective, and calm within the space.
The seat is built around a metal frame with variable‑density padding, calibrated to respond to different points of contact.
Subtle stitching runs along the sides, tracing a curved line that follows the movement of the form without interrupting its surface. The upholstery wraps the armchair completely, reinforcing the sense of enclosure and visual cohesion.
